Great people to deal with...especially Brayden and Page!

I scheduled my truck with the Delano Chevy dealership to fix a recall on Tuesday. Later in the day, they called me and said they didn't have time and would try to get to it on Wednesday. I asked them to diagnose a check engine light and possibly any concerns about oil pressure and constant coolant fan running, but to let me know if there are any costs to this. The dealership called saying the rear brakes and rotors were bad and and it needed an egr valve. The cost for brakes was $600 and egr valve was $1700. I told them I would pass on both repairs and that I would pick it up. I brought to my local repair shop and they said the brakes were perfect and that it just needed a $20 sensor. The egr valve was repaired for $300. The Delano dealership still charged me $430 for diagnostic which I asked them to call me before performing this. When I asked them why they didn't call me, they said they didn't know. They also had no explanation for continuous running fan. I tried calling the dealer, but no one would answer so I left a message for them to call me back... no returns calls with an explanation. Very poor service at this particular dealership.
